Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy at Ottawa County Health Center
Occupational Therapy helps people of all ages participate in the activities that are most important to them, the daily activities that bring joy, purpose, and independence. From helping infants and children develop the skills they need to grow and learn, to guiding adults through recovery after illness or injury, to promoting independence and safety for older adults, occupational therapy focuses on building skills and confidence for daily living.
Our therapists take a holistic, patient-centered approach, addressing physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors that impact daily function. Whether it’s mastering new motor skills, regaining confidence after a health challenge, or adapting routines for greater independence, our goal is to help every individual live life to its fullest potential.
Jacee Rietbrock, Occupational Therapist, Registered and Licensed
Jacee grew up in Minneapolis, Kansas, and attended Kansas State University, where I earned my degree in Psychology and Gerontology in 2018. I went on to complete my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Cox College in 2020.
I have experience working in a variety of settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient adult and pediatric therapy, school-based services, critical access hospitals, and maternal health. I enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan, from infants to older adults, and supporting a wide range of diagnoses and developmental needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Skyler, and our three children. We love being part of the Minneapolis community and raising our family in the town where both my husband and I grew up.
