OCHC facilitates an evaluation of the health needs of our community by doing a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA).  The objective of a community health assessment is to develop strategies to address the community’s health needs and recognized issues. A variety of tools and processes may be used to conduct a community health assessment; the fundamental elements are community engagement and collaborative participation. These assessments are done every three years.
